How to upload iPhone photos to Google Classroom
If Classroom rejects your image, the photo is usually fine. The most common issue is file format: iPhone often uses HEIC, while upload flows work best with JPG or PNG.
Fastest way to submit (student or parent)
- Open iPhone Photo Fix.
- Select the photos you need for the assignment.
- Set output to JPG (or PNG if your teacher asked for it).
- Tap Share or Save, then save to Photos or Files.
- Attach the converted file in Google Classroom.
What to choose in Classroom
- JPG: best default for most photo assignments.
- PNG: better for screenshots or diagrams.
- PDF: use when your teacher asks for one document upload.
If upload still fails
- Try uploading one file first to confirm it works.
- Keep file names simple (letters and numbers only).
- Use smaller batches if your connection is slow.
- If needed, use Download ZIP and re-upload from desktop.
